The Vision: A Pathway to Reintegration
This project focused on developing Second Chancer Connect, a scalable, cloud-based mentorship platform designed to support incarcerated individuals through guided, AI-enhanced communication with non-incarcerated mentors.
Second Chancer Connect is a cloud-based platform enabling secure, AI-enhanced communication between mentors and incarcerated mentees through letters or email. It focuses on providing guidance across critical areas like post-release life, career planning, and emotional resilience. By empowering mentees with knowledge, support, and trusted relationships, the platform helps prepare them for reentry into society.
Nationwide Distribution
The platform was developed while I was employed with Veo Careers, with a focus on scalability and inclusivity. Partnerships helped ensure effective distribution and accessibility for the over 2 million currently incarcerated individuals in the United States. AI-driven tools enhance communication, enabling efficient and meaningful mentor-mentee connections.
